I am looking at a power steering pump that is for sale here in the classified section to put on my 68 camaro big block car. The guy that is selling it had it on his 69 camaro( big block car) but wanted to in install the correct 69 pump on his car.The guy is not sure what the pump orginally came on but he thinks it came on a 68 Impala or maybe a caprice as the pmp has different style brackets than what the camaro has. My question is : Is the pump from the IMPALA/caprice big block cars the same as the pump used on the camaro and can I take the brackets and mounting hardware I already have and use them with this pump.
