Looking for advice on a good '69 Camaro restoration book.

I have a few of them. Read them and that was it.

Where could I find these at and how much should I expect to pay?

I bought a 100+ page soft cover book entitled "How to Restore Your Camaro" by the editors of Car Review Magazine. The subject of the book is a 1969 Z/28 (what else??). It's not a complete step-by-step cookbook approach, but it's pretty close and it does have a lot of pictures and some really good tips. This book, along with the others already mentioned, are worthy additions to the library. This book is published by Classic Industries, so I'm sure most of the restoration parts suppliers carry it. I think I paid around $20 for it.

Fred, my comment was not meant to be a slam against SS's or any other first gen. I bought that book hoping it would have more info on 67's, to be honest with you. :( Oh well. I agree with you on the proliferation of 'tribute' Z's. In fact, there are so many 1969 Z/28's running around that they would be boring if they weren't so d@*'d good looking. I almost feel like I have to apologize to others for being 'stuck' with a lowly plain Jane.

Anyways, if someone was going to write a 'how to' book about restoring a first gen Camaro, what model would you expect them to write about? I guess that was my point.
