1968 camaro sway bars and sub frame do I need both. Stock bar up front now with no rear . Car has been lowered 2" Hotchkis springs in rear globo west springs up front. Hotchkis seems to be the Brand of choice? Is this true.
(I don't race car. Weekend nice day car only)

Thanxs for any input.

Most use a 1" or 1 1/8" front sway bar, and no rear bar.
Hotchkiss makes a good front bar, they are tubular so they are light.
Addco makes a solid bar, same effectiveness, but much less expensive, also much heavier.

I would do both. A good stiff chassis is a pre-requisite for good handling. Addco and Hellwig also manufacture sway bars.

I would do both as well. But you have to be careful with your sway bar selection. Diameter makes huge differences, sometimes less is more. There is a great post at camarosource. It has a basic trouble shooting guide and offers suggestions, even though it's primarily directed towards 3rd and 4th gens it still applies to all cars. It has a great explanation of sway bar diameter ( by me of course ). http://www.camarosource.ca/forums/viewtopic.php?f=78&t=13600

ADDCO, 1" front and 3/4" rear and either bolt-on or weld-in Jegs S/F/C's!

And now is the time to install either aluminum or hard as frozen hockey pucks, poly S/F bushings and heavy duty rear springs!

Mine has both and the bolt-on now! And I'm here ta tell you, the S/F/C's really stiffened my car way up when I jack it up from the side in front of my 12-bolt!
