As the title indicates, I can't figure out where the fuel filter is supposed to be installed on a '69 L78. The AIM doesn't show one unless I've missed it. The only thing that I can figure is that there are two filters in the carb (factory 780 CFM Holley with dual feeds). Is this correct?

Yes, 2 bronze filters in each Carb Bowl Inlet, still availiable from GM or aftermarket Napa etc.
