hey i have a 1989 iroc it came with a 305 took it out and put a new 406 stroker in it well the motor runs perfect its the transmission witch is a 5 speed that came with car it has a new clutch and everything but like when i get on the gas real hard like spinning the tires it works good from first gear but when i try to go from first to second it wants to grind and all the other are will grind sometimes it does and sometimes it dont i was wondering if you can adjust the clutch on these cars and was wondering how you do that thanks

There really isn't a whole lot of adjust to it but you have to bleed the slave cylinder. Could be syncros going out.

these bwt5 tranys are bad about bending the shift forks and it makes it hard to shift i use to race a iroc with this trany i went though 5 i ended up geting a tremic to hold up , t5's dont hold up to power remember gm put this in s10 trucks then they put a v8 in front of it and had nothing but trouble
