I have a 68 with drums all the way around. This winter I am buying everything to finish the restoration and want to convert to power disc brakes up front. I want to keep the stock height since it seems from what I've read that the 2" drop spindles cause way too many problems. I want to run it with a set of Coy's C-55 17" rims and don't want any clearance problems.

So are the stock style disc conversions on eBay any good? Something like this...

I'd probably buy the lines from the same store to make sure they match.

Are there any better deals out there?

Belair Bob is a member here at TC, and his kit is less costly (not to be confused with 'cheap" with regards to quality).

A good number of folks here have used Bob's kit and been very happy.

I haven't made the purchase yet, but was thinking of going with either Matt's (http://www.mattsclassicbowties.com/contents/en-us/p742.html) or Bob's kit.
