I have a 68 with drums all the way around. This winter I am buying everything to finish the restoration and want to convert to power disc brakes up front. I want to keep the stock height since it seems from what I've read that the 2" drop spindles cause way too many problems. I want to run it with a set of Coy's C-55 17" rims and don't want any clearance problems.
So are the stock style disc conversions on eBay any good? Something like this...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1967-1968-1969-CAMARO-FIREBIRD-POWER-GM-DISC-BRAKE-KIT_W0QQitemZ110323330902QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors _Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item110323330902&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=72%3A727|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1967-1968-1969-CAMARO-FIREBIRD-POWER-GM-DISC-BRAKE-KIT_W0QQitemZ110323330902QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors _Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item110323330902&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=72%3A727%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318 )
I'd probably buy the lines from the same store to make sure they match.
Are there any better deals out there?
