: What died on your car this week
bandits77 Dec 12th, 08, 12:24 PM Well this week my trans went on me :mad:. I was comeing home from a friends house and the trans locked up and wouldnt get out of gear. I love my Vr6 but I seem too have alot of probs with it. So what died in your engine compartment this week?

Got that right. I have an 87 GTI that is under restoration cant wait too drive it. I always seem to have major probs wit my vr.

the wtf part has me laughing no offense lol. Lets see. I just found out I own a pathfinder now, the battery died uhm and my power valve on the ol' holley craped out on me. If it wasnt the carb i ll have a list for you :). The ABS light came on in the pathfinder, and uhm the transmission slips in third gear. You dont have it that bad ;)

I think that happend to my wifes Trailblazer. Holy Crap i cant stand to get in it anymore.

ace's68 Jan 9th, 09, 03:23 PM Brakes went to the floor in the 68', wheel cylinder leak and a scary experience.
Parking brake came out of the dash when it was applied.
And my daily driver is about to turn 200k and I think the trans is slipping in od? maybe a bad converter.
BTW, I envy the owner of the white M3, I will never buy American because of that car.
