Here's a website tool that estimates auto repair costs.

The intake manifold gasket was leaking on my 95 corvette. I was going to wait for some warmer weather to repair it, but it was getting worse and I was feeling lazy, so I took it to a shop. I called around and the dealers were higher than the estimator by about $150. But the shop I always use was right in the range it showed.

I was looking up some services I have supplied lately and found I'm doing it for below average in my zip code. The problem with that is I'm always told I charge too much!

I did a couple of price checks for common services in my shop. The repair estimator was a bit on the low side, but it also specified that it was using independant shops. After I convert the dollar (yes our dollar is under valued again) and compare it to local independant shops it turns out to be pretty darn close.

Showed me I'm charging to little for my work!! Time to up the anny....... Thx repair estimator.... naaa I'd rather keep my customers happy and myself busy unlike most all the shops begging for business in our area.........!
