I look at this car and think, what were they smoking.........If there ever was a ugly interior, and a steering wheel that could make me think a chrome chain replacement is a upgrade, well.................. and the partial Herring bone seat wanna be look...............Well I guess lots bought them, and still love them, but its just not my kind of Camaro. :beers:

Mike,
That car looks pretty clean and it's not priced bad at all. That would make someone a nice drag car project. Heck for $600 I would take it if it was closer to me.

Nice deal for $600. Drop a V8 for drag or for a daily driver. Re-do the interior, suspension, etc., to make it safe and pass safety inspection.

Says it's a 4 cylinder car, those usually came with a 4.10 rear:) We used to pluck the rears from them in the junkyards when they were still plentiful (late 80s early 90s).

I guess the point I was making, is that I am not sure these cars will ever be near as collectable or desirable as first generations. And yes I guess I was harsh with my opinion. I know they can make fun racers or drivers, I guess I was just blessed to grow up with the first and best, "so far" that wears the Camaro logo. That car is priced right, and looks very usable like you guys mention. I see many cars, furniture, lawn & garden equipment, come out of this area in Utah. Its where Hill Airforce Base is located, and many times these servicemen & women have very little time to sell belongings and relocate, and prices reflect that. I have seen some real bargains come from there.

Not fair .. I grew up in 2nd gens but raised around 3rd gens... hints why my first camaro was a 3rd gen .. I like them all !!

but remember at one time or another people were selling first gens for around that price too.
