Gentlemen, I am relatively new here, six years with the Chevelle bunch and still an owner and enthusiast. I am looking for my first Camaro from those great old bygone days. One of our members suggested a book that I could get to study up. He even gave me the number to look for ( ISBN I believe ). Anyway, I wrote it all down and then lost it. Could you please post that one for me again? Cheers, R.B. ( My first love is the 1969 Indy Pace Car, though it's easy to make an argument for at least a dozen others. )

You will learn nothing more from any book or books that you cannot learn for free over at CRG-- Camaro Research Group (camaros.org) How to read cowl tags, etc. Also search here for lots of discussion on what clues to look for to confirm what a car was, even with engine and tranny gone.

For details like part numbers, engine codes, etc Chevy by the Numbers is excellent, as is Jerry MacNeish's "Definitive 69 Z/28 and SS" (may not have the title exactly right.) Jerry's book is jammed with good info.

Thanks again, sorry about the double post under a new name, but there was every indication that my computer had flung my question into Cyberspace. I was pleased by surprised to find it here. Cheers, R.B.
