Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, but I need gift ideas for my father in law he's a real gear head. He has a 51 chev truck a 68 camaro and just bought a #'s matching 64 Chevelle SS. Any ideas would be a huge help as I would like to get him something special as he has been helping me with my 67. Thanks guys

I believe the only gifts to give a real gear head is a set of high performance ring and pinion gears and also a Pete Jackson "noisy" gear drive!:thumbsup:

Chad...

You know what he has as far as tools go and what amount you want to spend. A set of jack stands, combo seat/creeper, timing light (he has old cars) and a good detail kit..maybe a buffer too.

Thanks guys, he's pretty much set as far as tools go, I do like the buffer idea. I have the hardest time finding him a good gift as he usally just buys it himself. Thanks again.:D

Hemmings calendar or mag subscription are gifts I like to give...http://www.hemmings.com/store/

Personally, I like to receive gift cards to our local hardware store (OSH) or Sears.

However, Please don't feel pressured to send me a gift card, nasty recession and all ;)
