I have done a search on what windshield to buy, I guess theres clear, tinted, what are most of you guys buying, just trying to get ready, I will do the headliner first.

I have just replaced my orginal..which had the bronze strip across the top and green tint
the bronzr strip is no longer avalible..it is now a blue strip and green tint
Yeah go tinted if the rest of your glass is tinted.

Check all your local auto glass companies and see what they offer. You won't have a problem finding one locally.
And it's less expensive than aftermarket.
I can get a tinted windshield for my '69 for around $150 installed.

I had to order mine from Classic Industries. The body shop that is painting my car called his glass suppliers and they all told him that the glass wasn't available through them. Just one of the pleasures of living semi-isolated I guess.

Hmmm green tint, i don't think any of my glass has a green tint. I don't think I would like it. The only glass I had to buy was the windshield I just got the clear one from auto city glass, with blue top part. I've set it in place with some sponges to take up space while fitting trim and well its not perfect but it will do. The gap isnt consistent all the way around the channels.
