Or anybody with a C4.

With my engine turned off and the gas pedal held to the floor, the throttle valve is not fully open. It goes through the ASR module, so I'm not sure, with the engine not running, if it should be full open or not. Could somebody look and see if you have WOT with the pedal to the floor?

Also, it appears there are two different types of throttle cables, one like I have, shown in this picture, and one with a square push button adjustment. I have not figured out how to adjust this one?

The black plastic thing on the bottom cable is the adjuster. Adjust it so that you can achieve WOT. It's also very common for the adjuster teeth to be stripped out, which would necessitate a new cable assembly.

Art,

Thanks for the reply. I have not figured out how the adjustment works. Nothing on that part seems to move (except a cam type lever that does seem like it should be releasing something?). I didn't want to force anything and break it. On the style cable that has the square button, I understand you push the button while holding the pedal to the floor, but I haven't found anything that explains how this one works. It seems the cable with the square button is more common.

I'll take a look at mine this morning Dave.
I think the cable is like yours.
