MY opinion here....Use a original AC-Delco motor. It will be a couple more buck$, but do it right the first time. I replaced drivers side motor twice! The first was a cheepo "Lifetime warranty" ebay motor. Lasted about 8 months. They wouldn't honor warranty since it was not a "Professional installation". I then bought the OEM motor and haven't had any trouble. Been 4 years. I know,I know....many guys have had "Good Luck" with cheep motors. God bless em!
It really isn't too bad to change the 4th gen PW motors. Although it can be a pain in the buttox. Something you probably won't want to do twice!
Here's a cut/paste of how to do it. Hope this helps....Jb
Window Regulator Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Place window in halfway down position.
2. Remove front side door trim panel.
3. Remove water deflector.
4. Support window in position by inserting rubber wedge door stops at front and rear of window between window and door inner panel.
.....Caution..... Disconnect the power window switch when working inside the driver door. When operated, the Express Up/Down Feature allows the door window to move very quickly, without stopping, which could cause personal injury.
5. Remove window rear guide nuts so rear guide can be moved.
6. Remove window regulator rivets by drilling out rivet with drill.
7. Remove electrical connectors from regulator motor by sliding motor and regulator rearward.
8. Remove window regulator from door channels.
9. Remove window regulator with regulator motor attached through rear access hole.
Regulator Motor Replacement Procedure
1. Drill hole through window regulator sector gear (the big gear) and backplate. Install a bolt and nut to lock sector gear into position. The sector is spring loaded and MUST be secured BEFORE removing the motor from the regulator assembly.
2. Remove rivets securing motor to regulator by drilling out the rivets. Remove the regulator motor from the regulator.
3. Install the new motor to the regulator. Install with the new rivets.
4. Remove the bolt and nut used to secure the sector gear.
5. Install the window regulator. Refer to Window Regulator Replacement .
