My 69 Camaro has 14" SS wheels. The car is in the middle of a restoration and I really like the look of the original SS wheels.
My question is with a stock 12 bolt rear what is the most rubber I can place on the rear without rubbing?

Also I see Summit sells 15X7 & 15X8 SS knockoffs that I am considering for the rear and keeping the 14X7s on the front.

The front of the car has stock disc brakes.
Any help, as always, would be greatly appreciated.

THANKS,
L.T.

Hey Lon,

I moved your thread here to the Wheel and Tire forum, it will get more replies here than in the Restoration Corner forum which is more for stock, correct application questions.

You should be able to get about a 9.5" - 10" section witdh tire In a 14" tire thats a 245/60/14...

275/60/15 is the norm.

Now if you're into 16"+ wheels.... look at the sticky at top of Wheels thread :D
