I am researching and developing a stand alone TBI conversion for AMC engines. I have an AMC 360 sitting on the floor in the garage. It's hooked up to a GM TBI system. I'm using a 7747 ECM with a 2732A chip (24 prong). I have eliminated the electronic spark control to keep this kit economical (I didn't want the kit to require a new ignition mod, dist, and coil). In doing so, I used the negative side of the coil to fire the injectors. ( FYI..It required making a tach filter to reduce the high frequency spikes resulting in a fried ecm.)
Anyhow, I am just one step away from having a working prototype. I just need to reprogram the chip to not read code 42 "electronic spark timing open circuit"
I understand that there are a lot if options out there. I want to stay away from the G2 Chip adaptor because I want anyone to be able to install this without having to solder the circuit board.
What is the cheapest way to accomplish this?
