Just talked to the original owner of a Wallace Chevrolet 1969 Copo Camaro. Guy was a dragracer from back then and worked at Wallace Chevrolet for a short period. Very well known Dragracer at Englishtown Raceway park back then. Was the second owner of a 69 Chevelle 396/375 L89 4 speed car.This car was not from Wallace,car was dragraced at ETown NJ.Car ended up in Colorado years later.The car he owned before this was a Wallace Chevrolet Copo 427 4speed Camaro,color Burnished brown. Car was ordered by someone else thru Wallace.When car came in customer back out of deal.John M found out about car thru his friend Frankie Johansen who owned the first COPO to come into Wallace ,this was the Huckleberry Hound Black on Black 1969 Copo Camaro auto car..Frankie ordered that car and Wallace sponsered it thru Doug P the Hi Po guy at Wallace.So this 2nd car has never been found and could be out there. Also there was a 69 Dark Green Camaro Z/28 JL8 car ordered by a Black guy thru Wallace.Car had a Crossram put on it by Wallace.
