Just bought a 73 camaro with a 454 and was wondering what kind of HP I could expect and track time and speed.I'll give specs,454 bored 060-hyper pistons 10 1/4-edelbrock rpm rectangular heads-comp cam solid cam 244 intake 252 exhaust-roller rockers 1.7-edelbrock victor jr intake-holley 850 mechanical-2"hedman headers into 40 flowmasters-350 transmission w3500 stall-373 rear posi.Rear tires are 275-60-15 not drag slicks.Would appreciate a good estimate as I will not have time for the track this year.Thanks a lot!!

Its all physics, as far as what it should run so..
Need +/- weight of the car.

Dont even bother to take it to the track on street radails - you may get some 14s. Get something like M/T Drag Radials for it.

Also, is the fuel system up for the job?
and what exhaust system is on it?, since these items are often overlooked on BB cars and just choke them up. But the engine should be makin around 525-550hp if you dynoed it, from the info given, but dynos have good fuel systems and are open headers.
If its makin 525+hp hp then even if its heavy, it should run high 10s @ 120+, thats if you can get it to hook and 60ft decent, and have it tuned well and car workin good.

Thanks for reply!weight of car with driver is 3600pds and exhaust is 2"hedman headers into 3" custom exhaust with flowmaster 40 series mufflers.Fuel system is stock 3/8 line with holley 130GPH fuel pump.I appreciate your input.
