With all the talk about installation and problems. There are three dealers of this transmission, (really there are allot more- these three seemed to spend allot of time and money to capture our business), who say they are yours. So to speak. To help with any problem you have before ,during and or after it's installed.
Here they are in no certain order: Bowtie Overdrives American Powertrain and Monster Transmission. They all say that they will help till the end!

Is this BS or what, who has experience or what's the scoop? Is anyone better than the others. Should we stay away from certain dealers?
They all use quite a bit of mula to make their product and services sound the best. But when it comes down to it; what's the deal????We don't have all sorts of money to make mistakes.

I have a Bowtie Overdrives Trans, and I am very happy with it and they were extremely helpful during install and all the testing afterwords. They stayed on the phone with me during all break-in and pressure testing and their general attitude was great. In short....Customer Service was top notch.

I too have a Bow Tie Overdrives with zero problems in the 7 years its been in the car.

I bought my 700R4 from The Tranny Doctor in Reno, NV many years ago. It has worked flawlessly and I'd buy another one from them. I bought from them because I could actually go to their shop and talk to the builder.

My buddy and I cobbled up the trannys for my cars but anytime I had any technical questions the guys at Bowtie Overdrives always took the time to thoughtfully answer them. They also built a governor for my tranny that was spot on and made my trans shift exactly where I want it to at WOT.

That's 3 out of 4 for the guys with the Bow Ties
and one for a shop where it was face to face
