I just bought an 68 RS/SS convertible (1st project) to work on and already have gain a lot of knowledge from this site and look forward to learning more from everybody else.

Thanks Dave, I am sure I will be calling on you throughout the project. The original color was Teal blue with the deluxe blue interior and a blue top. I need to find a place that I can get the top (previous owner had a white top which is trashed). I don't know if I have to get it custom or not.

plenty of aftermarket parts around...gm parts are high and hard to find..try ebay, hemmings and sites like team camaro like in the wanted section...

Wow, my car is teal blue with a mdeium blue deluxe interior and originally had a blue top as well. I was not able to find anyone to take on making me a blue top. I finaly decided to re-paint the convert frame black and go with a black top. PM me with your E-mail, and I can send you tons of pictures. I just got mine re-painted and am in the final stages of re-assembly. Should be back on the road in a couple of weeks.
