Scott JimM Dec 30th, 08, 07:06 AM Carl, all original firstgen Camaro 10 bolt rears used an 8.2" ring gear. 12 bolts had an 8.875" ring gear. The newer "corporate 10 bolt" used an 8.5" ring gear. This rearend, as installed in Novas in the 70's, was a drop in replacement in a firstgen camaro. All 3 used exactly the same 28 spline axles.
