I purchased an o.e.r. repro tic toc tach 8 years ago and am just now getting around to inst. it on my 68 327 coupe. I know I have to run a power wire to the clock witch I did and it works as well as all the lights but the tach does not work. I am using a mallory unilite dist.
Also very disturbing is I think I traced the wire that went to the fuel gauge that I believe is lt. brown but when I tried to use jumpers to test the fuel guage it did'nt work. I know I will need a diff. fuel guage but I just tried to jump the wires to see if I had the right wires. Any advice on the tach or wiring for a new add on fuel guage will be greatly appreciated.

The fuel gayge wire is Tan, may look light brown.

The tic toc tach has 3 studs, the bottom 2 are clock and tac power. Don't ask me which is which, I forget, If you look in the gauge, you can see which goes into the clock motor and which goes into the tac pcb.

The top stud goes to the coil neg to trigger the tac.
