Looking at the BeCool polished aluminum radiator and electric fans for my 67 327 5 manual trans car. I would like it to look great and perform well for my application. Classic Industries sells a 22 inch and 24 inch radiator and electric fan system that I am looking at.

Does anyone have experience with this system? Installation tips? Would the 22" or the 24" system have a better look and fit? ( I am sure that either one would provide the cooling I would need)

Thanks

The 22" is for a small block car and the 24" is for a big block car. I would put the 24" in the car and if you decided to change motors later you would have enough cooling capicity.

But before I would pay for a Be Cool radiator with fans I would check out this radiator. There are some guys on here that have bought them and like them. I have the Be Cool setup on my camaro but I would buy this one now.

Truth in advertising.I got off the cfm advertised as Mike and Myself well know and payed more attention to the current draw a fan kit requires to move x number of cfm fully shrouded and tight to the core. They claim 35-40 amps running. For most applications I am stuck on the 10 amp for every 1000 cfm rule,so this kit appears to be able to move at least 3500 cfm.

Before you buy check out the Entropy BB radiattor sold on ebay. It is fully shrouded, pulls plenty cfm and looks good. For a lot less than Be Cool. I bought one and am completely satisfied. I did polish it a little more. It's not quite as polished as the pic shows but it's close. Get the wiring harness they sell also. You may have to cut and splice to shorten it some, but not a problem. My cost with shipping was about $720. Do a search in the heating and cooling section. Under entropy and dual fans installed. There is some pictures of my set up if you want to see what they look like.

Thanks Bill, i looked at the same system,Very pricey. I found this company at a very large swap meet in the mid west. My orriginal in my 67 was starting to leak and i walked by his display and saw it. I looked at it like most people do at swap meets and didn't buy it. Then after much research i decided it was a good deal. It was a 22" aluminum radiator with dual electric fans a very nice stainless steel fan shroud and all the wiring included for 550.00 shiped to my house in one day. The guy is Dillon Radiator Inc in Rochestor Mn. 1-888-988-1292 He does have a web site also. I installed mine and it looks great and no cooling issues at all. Just a note to try to save you some money. Mike

I like to use Ron Davis, spendy but the engineering and quality is there. I can get someone a deal on them but they are not cheap to begin with...LOL

I got the BeCool kit that includes polished 24 inch radiator (automatic) with dual fans, overflow and everything you need to set it up. It's rated to cool up to 650HP. Below is a link to the product at Summit.

I love it as it works great with my 454 and looks even better. Below is a pic of before/after. Only thing I changed was I got lower temp (185) temp sending unit ($45). The kit came with 195 degree but my engine runs better at 185.
