I am having a tough time removing the knobs from my 67 Camaro Heater panel, I have put alot of muscle into pulling the knobs off but they won't budge, does anyone have any tricks for their removal..

They do and will just pull off. I belive I used a claw hammer (with a rag under it) to get the pull in the right direction.
