On my 1976 the fuel vent line crosses over to the left at the rear axle. Then it follows the steel brake line all the way to the front and comes up behind the left fender near the brake power booster. My fuel pump (on the right hand side) has a place for the vent line to connect to it. Is this becouse the vent originally went to the charcoal canister or what? Can I plug the vent tube at the fuel pump and leave the end of the line itself open or do I need to buy a single inlet fuel pump, or should I run a fuel line accross the engine compartment to the vent line? I would appreciate any opinions. Thanks, Rob

Drvr side tube went to a charcoal cannister for collecting fumes fromt he tank.
Second nipple on fuel pump is for vapor lock prevention. Might go back to tank for recirculation.

Thanks Everett, I think I will run a fuel line to the tube from the fuel pump. I don't think it will hurt anything. Thanks again, Rob
