installed a 6.0 L out of chevy truck into 94 camaro. i have low oil pressure. the oil pan has a cooler configuration. i put plate over cooler holes. does it need a cooler for recirculating. thanks for your time

If anything you need to run a hose between them so oil will still circulate properly. Vegas69 Jan 2nd, 09, 10:01 PM Has to be your problem. hereitis67 Jan 2nd, 09, 10:12 PM you cant do that. you are taking out oil filter also that way. oil flow is to pump than to filter. from there with that abdapter to oil cooler than back. after that it goes to engine main bearings and so forth. so either you need a line going to each side of line or buy right oil filter abdapter without external cooler. |
