I found a seat belt retractor in a box of parts that came with my car when purchased. It does not look like one for a 68 camaro. can anyone identify it. l uploaded it as my profile picture.

Jason, its for a Nova or truck depending on the belt code.

I'd say Nova since the truck versions are taller and look different.

thanks, it was amongst all the RS parts when i bought my car. the 68 rs parts where in a box and lost of 67 rs parts on the car. motors and actuators. wanted to make sure it was not important before throwing it out

good point. I will just leave it in the box with the other stuff. someday I will figure out ebay so I can get rid of the 67 rs stuff

Be advised, I sold a pair of cracked seat belt retractors from a 68 to someone here so don't throw them away, they will sell!
