I've been looking over this site for quite some time and figured it is finally time to join. I've bought a 69 Camaro to restofy with my son. It was a mess, sun roof, rear quarters, inner and outer wheel houses, but the floors had already been replaced. You get the idea. Then we found a deal to good to pass up, so this one has sat for the past 5 years. I've been collecting parts and doing some work.
Being the car is a base model 307/PG and no engine or trans, it now has mini tubs, 9" rear end, LT1 and a six speed, hopefully we'll have it going this year but definitely by spring 09.
We also have a 70 Chevelle SS with a big block and a six speed. It's cool to drive down the interstate at 75 MPH at 2000 RPM. I do have AADD.

Welcome to Team Camaro,this sounds very simular to my son and I.I have a 69 Camaro and we are doing a Father + Son 70 Chevelle post some pics I have a few floating around the forums.Keep us posted on the build and if you need help I am sure you will get it here.

Welcome aboard.... Sounds like an awesome project for you and your son. Pictures would be great, I'm right dab in the middle of grabbing a few more HP out of my BB and my son has helped me out with little watching and grabbing some wood blocks out of our back yard. He is very interested and only 6yrs old, i cant imagine what he will be like when he starts driving the Camaro. Best of luck you came to the right place.

Here they both are twins 6yrs old my daughter and son... Do anything we can to keep them off the streets and there mines focused.
