Can anyone tell me if it is possible to install a 77 nose and chrome bumper on a 78 or do you have to use the whole front end if that,s even possible.

Fenders are way different because of the rubber bumper on the 78. The only thing the same is the hood. Front part of subframe may be different too.

not the core support.....according to hollander the core support is the same just the fenders and bumpers and grill are diff. hood can be reused...

You are right Bill, The core supports are the same. My error.

So I can put a whole front clip off of a 77 onto a 78 right, and I understand that the radiator support is the same.

Hideaway, Go to nastyz28.com and click on the forum section. Do a search on core supports. There are several discussions there about this subject. Everyone says they are different so I dont really know what to tell you. Several people say from personel experiances that it will not work. Check it out. Good luck.
