Has anyone used them?
What do you like/dislike about them?
What brand did you use?
Where the coilovers as good or better then coils and shocks?

I am looking at the fatmanfabrications clip for a 68 and wanted input

The fatman clip is Mustang 2 based as far as I know. There are far better clips out there that offer best in class geometry etc. In my opinion the ones to look at are Art Morrison, DSE, and Jakes Rod Shop. Do some research over on pro-touring.com.

I have an AME clip. No road testing yet but the quality of design and construction are excellent.

This is not something to purchase based just on price. Some of these clips are far better engineered than others.

Are you looking for a pro touring clip or a pro street clip? The Fatman and Alston pieces are much better suited for pro street. For pro touring the AME, SpeedTech, DSE, and modified stock are much better alternatives.
