I went with McLeod. Quick Time is another good option as well.

I went with the Quick Time. after talking to Jim at classic motor sports i thought that would be the best choice. My engine builder did say with the Dart SHP block i used the bell houseing was almost dead on alignment. He also said he thought it was a nice piece and well made.

I am using the stock 621 bellhousing with my TKO 600. It took a phone call to Classic Motorsports Group to do the dial indicator part right and it was actually within the specs range called for.

I used a stock one I bought on ebay... a "403" I think (for a 10.5" clutch) or perhaps the nova version which was a lil cheaper.

Removed my Lakewood and went to repro 621 from Classic. I still feel safe as flywheel is billet.

We manufacture a 621 bellhousing with 50% thicker wall than stock. We designed it using the original GM prints, and make here in the USA.

We have it for traditional V8 Chevy engines, as well as LS1/2/3/7/x.

We also manufacture the steel inspection cover in a slightly thicker version than stock.

For SFI, we use Lakewood, as they have shown to have a winning formula time after time. They make for both traditional Chevy and LS engines. I like the concept of the QT bell, but the product is not designed as a true replacement in many cases.

And no matter what you get, remember that there is no such thing as a "pre dialed in bellhousing."
