C-ROB Jan 9th, 09, 09:15 PM I can't give you a whole lot of insight to which is better, but I can say that I am extremely pleased with my Cal-Tracs. I also know that there are more stock suspension cars using Cal-Tracs than there are using the CE Slide-A-Link. I have never used the Slide-A-Link on any of my cars, but the few that I have seen had success. The Cal-Tracs are probably a tad bit harsher regarding "ride quality" when on a street car, but then again, I have not used the CE product to compare it to. I'm certain that more people will chime in, but either one will be the most superior traction device that you can install for a stock suspension car. deerhunter Jan 9th, 09, 09:36 PM If you do the "Search" thing you will find a book...no, volumes of information on this very discussion. There are millions of pro's and con's about both of them. HarleyD67 Jan 9th, 09, 10:34 PM Cal-trac's are the overall preferred choice. Slide-a-links arn't bad but Cal-trac's are better. Yes you may have to adjust some of the pre-load out of the Cal-trac's for a smoother street ride, but it's really not that bad. If you fave regular slapper bars now the ride quality is about the same, but they are easier to adjust for changes in track conditions. |
