i have a 350ss camaro all orig exhaust,,need some noise! any thoughts on headers and or mufflers? thanks

If you want noise plus an easy installation, get Hedman full length headers and Flowmaster 40 exhaust system.

Flowmasters are by far the loudest cans I've ever run. Checkout other mufflers as well, they will all add noise, but flowmasters are also designed for maximum resonance in the cabin as well. Some people like that, some don't. I've also found that while you get less performance without an X or H pipe, you do get a louder exhaust (with that set up I was always setting off car alarms in parking lots. LOL)

If you want to be different look into spintech.
They look similar to flowmaster but imho sound 10X better.
You mostly find these on street/mostly strip cars.

Do you still have the stock transverse muffler on her?

B/c if you do, pull it and just run your stock resonators that are under each rear seat and it should sound great if this is what you really want.

Been there, know all about this stuff and my car has had as many W/D/T, smooth perforated inner pipe 2.5" glasspacks as I could fit under her down each side when I had my old 11.5 to 1 hopped up 409 "W" engine in her!!

Do the transverse muffler remove w/ just your stock resonators before you go 40 Flow Masters!!

yes i do have the stock transverse on it. I will have to look into that thanks.

My transverse muffler finally blew out and to help it along, I put a muffler patch kit on it until it flat fell apart later.
