Hi all: I was wondering if anyone may have a clue what is happening with my wife's daily driver, Its a 1999 Chrysler concord 3.2 and now and again it will start losing power and hesitate and buck while driving. the codes said 5 and 6 were misfiring - so me and my bro changed out 5 and 6 coil and plugs. thought we had her fixed but it started doing it again today. Any help or clues would be greatly appreciated.
( Thank god its not trouble with the Camaro! LOL )

Could be fuel related-colgged injectors, no pulse, something like that. What quality parts did you put on it? Are you sure 5&6 are missing again and not 1-4?

Got an older Chrysler than you, but found that a dirty air mass flow valve was doing some of the stuff that yours is experiencing. Not a big deal to clean, just awkward and dirty... have lots of cleaner ready. Usually good for a couple of years or so... then ya have to do it again. Design factor I guess?

Car cleared up again - and no codes came thru, did use good quality parts last time, and I will try and clean the air mass flow valve to see if it happens again.
thanks for the help

Ended up being the fuel pump.

Does that car have coil packs? Glad you found the problem however if you had misfires id still look in to that?

I think the code was pulling up misfires because the fuel pump was dropping the psi way down and not letting it fire properly

Hmmm, one would think there would be a fuel pressure/volume sensor in order to assess fuel pump performance?
