hi everyone, i know that this is probably not the right site for this question, but its a start. i own a 2002 camaro ss coupe. and would like to know where i stand with when in line it was built. does that sound right? was it the last made, first made, ect. i hope some one can help. thank you mark.

ON the 96 and 97 SS Camaros there was a Number listed on the door jam of the passengers side. Like for example mine is #1113 .. "hints my user name" ... the numbers were very low for the first 4th gen SS's .. like in 97 there were abut 2,500 made.

for your year they made a total of 11,191 of them .. So that is a Lot of them and it is hard to find out where yours fell inline. I dont know if SLP is still in bussiness .. if they are maybe you can call them and give them your vin# to look it up. I hope anything I said helps you out .
