I am replacing all of the locks in my 1967 camaro, and I can't figure out what holds the lock cylinder in the glove box door (dash). When I bought my car 10 years ago, the glove box door was missing, so I have never seen it assembled.

I purchased a set of locks and it came with all of the lock cylinders, and 3 spring retaining clips for the doors and trunk, and a few springs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Install the cylinder into door, then lock it in lace with a screw from the inside.

I ended up taking mine to a locksmith and paying ten bucks or so to get it taken out. They said they'd put it back in when I'm ready if I can't figure it out. There seem to be a few different lock styles or something. I read all the posts and still couldn't figure it out.
Good luck,
John

I just went through this in a thread in the body section.
