Another forum member told me get an opinion on the tag (real or not)

The engine bay got media blasted before it got painted.
If it doesnt look clear enough i can go back and take another pic.

The 69 tag is a repo, but I don't know 67 tags.

I'm going to have to say both are real. If that 69 is a repro, hats off to the forger, nice job! :D

I think the 69 tag is good. If it's a repo I wanna know who/how they did the rivets!

They gave me a list of stuff to take pictures on the car.
It has power windows too, that tripped me out. Ive only seen that
in magazines.

My car has power windows verified by the cowl tag.......

It's rarity (and I use that word sparingly) is one of the reasons I bought the car 20+ years ago.

ah man, its the 69 that has the power windows.

When the car was purchased it had been stored for years.
i wish i had the pictures when it was on the trailer at the shop
The car was half way dismantled, the last owner was
in the process of restoring it. But lost interest.
The car also came with extra sheet metal, fenders etc, but
those were factory GM replacements (not todays sheet metal).

maybe the way it got media blasted, it looks fake?
ill get more pics of the car.

No, it has nothing to do with the blasted texture. The dum-dum putty in the rivets looks pretty decent, but that's about it.

69 tag is a definate repop!!

Man, I guess I need to go back to tag school! :) that one caught me! I still can't spot the issue, must be a number sequence that I do not have access to. :D
