For your interest the first 1969 Camaro ordered for Canada was a convertible with VIN 124679N500019, the shipping date for this car was August 25, 1968. The last car ordered for Canada was a coupe VIN 124379N711836, with a shipping date of November 11, 1969. Only Norwood cars were imported into Canada. I hope this helps to get some conversations going for the enthusiasts here.

That's the latest I've seen a NOR car shipped. I've seen one that was shipped 11/10. For reference, the last car from Norwood was 9N711922.

I'm curious, what engine was in the early car? 327?

Greetings, all I can say regarding the engine in the first VIN is 'bigger' ( we have to keep something back ). The last LF7 327/210 car appears to be *****9N571395 that was shipped January 8, 1969, after that the 307/200 came in, but that is just an estimate without doing a lot of searching. Unfortunately we do not have production dates on record, only shipping dates. Sorry I cannot visit all the time but always try to drop in and get you folks thinking.
