Yes, about 1% or less of the 1969 model were painted with a 'Two-Tone' option.
Here is a good past post with more info - http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=119972&highlight=tone

If I ever buy another '69 it will be because I found a factory two-tone car

There's another member or two here with that 65 50 color combo, and even one that used to have 727 interior.

That's where my mind went too.

None. If chevyshowman would be so kind as to send me a pic of the tag, it would be the first one. :)

White top with white stripes; it could look OK.

I saw a 2 tone car out here that was dover white on the top and glacier blue on the bottom. Only 2 tone car I have ever seen.

Something dosn't sound right about this one. Are you sure it's an X77 code car ?

Can you post a pic of the tag or e-mail it to some one to post, it would be the first 2-tone Z I ever heard about.

Like I said above, this is the first 2-tone Z. Interesting, never seen a 65-E Z either, which is the same color combo.
I love gold, what a great color in 69!

I would find a Z in need of restoration and put this cowl tag on it. It would bring big money at B-J's

Do you have any old pics of the car?
