Was ther any x22 or x66 396 engine cars that had m20 trannys and 12 bolt 3.73 gears or were all born with 400 trannys and 4.11 or bigger gears?

IIRC, even the 3.73 gears were an upgrade option for the 12 bolt. As was the TH400 tranny. Lots of 4-speed BBC Camaros out there. I don't know what percentage though.

Was there any that had this combo and when was the upgrade on the 69?

Provide the numbers you have on your car and I'm sure somebody will be glad to help you with what you have.

Are you familiar with the CRG? They have a wealth of info concerning 1st gen Camaros. Start here and work you way around: http://www.camaros.org/index.shtml

Relatively few BB's had 3.73 or deeper gears. Most were 3.08 or 3.31.
