I was thinking of looking into buying a short block from this place. Anyone ever have any dealings with them? Their feedback is 100% with the number of sales they have done seems pretty good.

he really needs spell check, never seen that many spelling errors on a professional ad. Doesn't mean anything about the quality of his stuff, just real noticeable.

All his feedback quoted in the ad was from 5 years ago. Wonder why he doesn't keep that more current. The parts are not exotic but should support the power level with the proper heads and induction. Looks like many others that sell assembled engines for about the price of the parts alone.

I always recommend to try to find a local machine shop personally in case there are any issues.

I have looked around local and the crooks around here want anywhere from $3-$4K for something similar, rotating kits for $2K. His detailed feedback lists stuff from last September which is why I asked if anyone had dealt with them. I liked the idea of just moving my stuff over get a new carb and go. Besides most machine shops, at least the ones I had the unfortunate dealings with, wash their hands of any responsibility the minute you leave their shop, what was their claim......oh yeah you thrashed the crap out of it and abused it, unless you can prove otherwise.

I was really close to buying a short block from them. I did some searches on them and they had goog reviews. If I was still in the market, id buy from them.
