I came across a SBC the stamp on the pad is "V0511TDY". The casting is 3970010 and it is a 4 bolt main.
Can some one please tell me what was the origional application for this engine?
I would if at all possible like to know hp and all the happy info.

the "T" in the three letter suffix means it's a truck engine. (the same as a car engine just "coded" for a truck). 175hp, auto trans, 8.2/1 compression, '73 blazer, '73 1/2 ton P/U, G10-20-30, GMC's also.
