I am almost done restoring my 69 and I am having trouble deciding what seat belts to go with. The only thing my car has is the shoulder belts. I can't find any info on how the shoulder belts work. Do they connect to the factory lap belts? Classic Industries doesn't have any info on these. I'm either going to by the reproduction lap belts or the after market 3 point retractable belts. Any Ideas?

shoulder belts are held in place on the roof by two chrome retainer clips that go on the top with screws , they are used in combination with the lap belt's the car's that have the shoulder belt's simply had an extra pair of female belts bolted to the floor ,,

Are the shoulder belts a rare option? Trying to decide if I should keep them or install the after market 3 point retractable belts.

the shoulder belts are rare on 67 68 but pretty common on 69 , I would go with the stock one's either new repro's if black or you can find good used one's if you need colored one's ,

Get a 3 pt from morrisclassic.. safer...
