I'm about to get started on my exhaust. I'm trying to decide if I would rather have SS or black ceramic coated from the header back. My headers are mild steel that will be ceramic coated. Any input or pros or cons on either would be great.

What ever looks best to you. My current set up is ceramic coated headers and VHT satin black painted exhuast system except for the SS Magnaflows.

I've also used the black Jet-Hot header coating in the past and really liked it. It didn't turn dull at the front of the primarys like the ceramic sometimes does.

My painted exhuast system.

After having had two sets of coated headers + mild steel aft sections, and now having all SS, I'll never go back. It costs more, but stays looking great by just wiping them down with a cloth with denatured alcohol. After two years even the coated black greyish-blue coatings looked so-so and had rusted in the tight areas.
