I am looking to buy a first generation Camaro, but I do not exactly know how to properly assess the value on one yet.

The one that I am currently looking at is a 1968 SS with a rebuilt 396 (don't know if it's orig engine), Munci 4 spd, and 12 bolt posi. Paint is clean from pictures and hood is cowled. Asking price is $22,000 . I am wondering what I should be paying for something like this.

If you need more details, please PM me. I will link you to the ad. If anyone has any links to Camaro's that are "worth it"...please post them up! I would like to gauge various cars/asking prices before jumping into this.

Thank you.
Chris

Thank you. Keep the suggestions coming!
