Anyone using one of these sending units from RobbMc Performance?

They look pretty sweet.

I saw them around. I was thinking of getting one too. I have 2 ,1/2 SS lines running to the tank. Only one is being used right now with the stock pump. I did it for future return line with a sump.

I'm concerned about the pickup though. Electric pumps are pushers not pullers. The pump is supposed to be below the fuel with the line running down. I'm not sure if a A1000 would work sucking from the top. Maybe after it's primed... Anyone have any info?

Where was it? You have no link.

Sorry fixed the link, I was going to run a mechanical pump. But may go to electric in the future. It may lose prime after sitting?

I bought one last week and it's a real nice piece. Go ahead and spend the $20 and get the -8 fittings on it. I tried to cheap out and it bit me a bit.

I'll be running a mechanical pump as well and it will be perfect for that. If you are looking to run a return I will say that the return tube ends in a hole at the unit, there is no down tube. Supposedly you don't want this is the returning fuel will splash and aerate the fuel.

Yea thats true. I wonder why he did that? Whats the sence of having a return if it's not going to work right. hmmm

Have you written to him about this? Perhaps it was something that was missed on your unit. You should at least write to him so he knows there are potential issues with more units.

I just shot him an email and will post back. Looks like a nice unit.

Just got off the phone with him. He told me the return fuel comes out and hits the level sender on the tube. When it hits that it breaks up the stream so it doesn't spray right into the tank. He said they did alot of reaserch on how to not make a straight stream and this works good. I still want to find out if the A1000 pump will work.

Bad news is I just got off with Aeromotive and he didn't recommend using a -8an feed with the A1000 pump. He said -10 min on the inlet side:mad:. I'm sure it would be fine for a mechanical pump though. The stealth system is nice but $$$$. If you figure it out after buying the pump, filter, sump, -10an hose and fittings the Stealth is around $400 more with no mounting fab. It's quieter , No loss of fuel going around corners and the filter is easy to change. Just an idea.

Thanks for the contact feedback. Robb also told me he hasn't had any issues on the street. I just bought one with the -8 option.
