Been there Longrod only I had all of em clacking amd couldn't find the problem. Turned out to be a bent camshaft. If you can imagine that! If it's only one making noise it should be fairly easy to locate. That is if it's a lifter/rocker. An automotive stethascope would make it easy to locate. If it's only making noise after full warm-up I might not necessarily suspect a lifter. All the lifters are oiled along the same oil passage and it is very rare for new or almost new hydraulic lifters to be bad. Some things you might look at are, if your running headers they can leak and it sounds just like a valve ticking. This would make sense regarding the warmed-up part. Another area might be the fuel pump but not likely.
The important thing is to not over-think it. I had all sorts of bad thoughts about misaligned cam bearings to clogged oil passages. My cam only had .0046 runout but it was enough to keep all 16 lifters from running quit.
Good luck!!!

Hey Long Rod,
I agree with John, but the easiest thing to check is the fuel pump. If you don't have a stethascope, then use a long screw driver, you can also use wooden dowel, like a cut off broom handle.
Warm it up until you here the noise then check it.
