mike,

i agree, when we lived in Ky we would travel to almost every show. the town really comes alive, cruising the main highway, people bring their lawnchairs and sit alongside the road to watch the cars cruise.

There used to be a burnout contest sponsored by a local eatery, cant think of the name right now, but there was always a good crowd.

The show was great also, right in the town square, nice to walk the whole thing on an afternoon.

Watching the video's make me wish spring and summer was already here. This cruise-in is very similar to our local communities cruise-in's. We have 4 surrounding very small town's that do the same thing on Friday's and Saturday's. They pretty much shut down the streets and have a cruise-in. Cool website Mike.

We had planned on attending the power cruise (Bowling Green leg) last year but had to cancel at the last minute. I'll finally get to visit Somerset during the 09 HotRod Power Tour. Looking forward to the trip from Somerset over to Bristol.

Went there last Sept. Drove my 69 down for the weekend. It was awesome! They really make you feel welcome. I plan on going several times this summer.

If you go make a weekend of it. But if you plan on staying in Somerset you had better get reservations or you won't get a room.
