Thanks for the welcome, I've been restoring my 1969 Camaro RS for 10 months now and hope to be back on the road by summertime. I was careful not to say I would be finished by summer, because it seems we really never finish working on our cars.

Here is a little fast-track of what I've done since last April, if you would like to see the full build you can click my fquick.com link at the bottom of my post.

It has not been easy, but very rewarding.

All that in just 10 months? Awesome work. No wonder you haven't had time to hang out on this site...

Dave, yes I did go to SEMA, I met Chip at the Mothers booth. He had already stayed there a half an hour past his scheduled time, signing autographs. I asked if he would sign my project book and he took the time to look through the whole book (about 60 photos) commented on the project, wished me luck, signed the cover, then asked if I wanted a photo with him (uhh yeah). He no doubt is a class act, and great for the industry. It was the highlight of my week in Vegas and when I got home I was more motivated than ever.

Chuck, I own my own carpet cleaning business and the last year has been really slow, so I've been able to donate a lot of time to my Camaro. You know it actually beats working, well except for less $$$'s.

Anyway this forum has been an invaluable resource for me, the Gulstrand mod, frame dimensions for squaring my front subframe, and so much more. I hope that someday I will be able to at least give a little back. Thanks to you all.:hurray::bow:
