Hey guys,
I just bought a '77 camaro yesterday as my first car. :D I've wanted a '69 since I was really young, but I figure this is close enough until I can afford one. The '77 is in awesome shape, it's an SS LT, if the emblems aren't lying, lol. The exterior is white, interior is red, or well, used to be red. Now it's like a faded orange, lol. I had a mechanic take a look before I bought it, and the first thing he said on the test drive was "The tie rods and linkage are shot." I almost cried right there, until he told me that it wasn't a big deal, and that it would just rattle on bumpy clearlake roads until I got the time and money to fix it, lol. The only other thing mechanically wrong with it is that the blower for the AC/Heater is out, so it's very cold driving it at night, lol. The seller actually included the blower motor in the price, he's a pretty big guy, so it'd be hard for him to get his butt up under the dash to fix it, lol. Other than those, it's an awesome car, probably the best first car I could have asked for, lol. I hope to have pics of it soon, if I get them, I might repost in this thread, unless there's a better place for them. (That's an invitation to tell me what to do, moderators) Anyways, I'll keep you guys posted on what happens with it. In the near future, I hope to get the tie rods and linkage fixed, and hopefully I'll have the money soon to get some Flowmaster 40s on it. (Gotta love that Flowmaster sound! :D) Well, I'mma go drive my car.
